An Evening of Turkish Poetry organized at the Oslo University

Oslo University’s Department of Culture Studies and Oriental Languages, in cooperation with the Turkish Embassy in Oslo, held a Turkish poetry event, entitled “The Life and work of Nazım Hikmet”, on October 16, 2012.

During the event, the renowned Turkish poet Nazım Hikmet’s poems were recited both in Turkish and Norwegian.

A short segment of a documentary by Mr. Can Dündar’s on the life of the poet was also shown during the event, prior to a short speech of Mr. Dündar on his documentary work.
