We strongly condemn the terrorist attacks perpetrated last night (July 8th) against the premises of the Presidential Palace and the Ministry of Defense. We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the attacks, convey our condolences to their relatives, and hope for a speedy recovery of those injured.

Turkey will continue to support the Somali people and the efforts of the Somalia's government which aim at ensuring peace and stability throughout the country, particularly Mogadishu.
