We have learned with great sorrow that 14 people lost their lives and approximately 80 others were injured, according to initial reports, as a result of the suicide attacks perpetrated in front of the Catholic and Protestant churches in Lahore, Pakistan on 15 March, during Sunday service.

We strongly condemn these heinous attacks which aimed at the stability of Pakistan and its climate of peace and tranquility where different religions and cultures co-exist. We pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the attacks, convey our condolences to their families and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.
