H.E. Jean Asselborn, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Minister for Immigration and Asylum of Luxembourg will pay a working visit to Turkey on 17-18 September 2015.

Luxembourg has been holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union since 1 July 2015.

Within the framework of the visit, Foreign Minister Sinirlioğlu and Foreign Minister Asselborn will discuss bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues including fight against terrorism, the process with regard to Turkey’s accession to the European Union, the recent irregular immigration and particularly the developments in Syria and Iraq.
