We are very pleased that the Nobel Peace Prize for 2015 was awarded to the civil society group, the Tunisian National Dialogue Quartet. The award symbolizes also the successful transition of Tunisia within a short time from a despotic regime to a pluralistic democracy based on the will of people.

The successful culmination of the political and social transformation process initiated in 2010 in line with the demands of the Tunisian people, through dialogue and reconciliation inspires other peoples of the region and keeps their resoluteness alive to move ahead towards peace and democracy. In this vein, we share the justified pride and joy that the Tunisian people feel for the award of this prize.
