We are seriously concerned about the news regarding a chemical attack against the town of Taze Khormato of Kirkuk by the DAESH terrorist organization. We wish God’s mercy upon our kinsman who lost her life in the attack and convey our condolences to her bereaved relatives.

We are in close contact with the Iraqi Turkmen authorities in the region on the issue. The Turkmen authorities have already transmitted their findings to the UN Mission in Iraq. As it has always been the case, Turkey is ready to provide all necessary support to our Turkmen brothers for medical treatment and humanitarian aid.

On this occasion, we condemn and denounce once again the inhumane methods used by the DAESH terrorist organization.
