H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, will pay an official visit to Myanmar on 12-14 June 2016.

This visit will be the first official contact with the new Myanmar Government.

Minister Çavuşoğlu will have meetings with the State Counsellor and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs H.E. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, President H.E. U Htin Kyaw and Commander-in-Chief H.E. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

Minister Çavuşoğlu will also visit Thayet Turkish Cemetery and meet local communities including Muslims in the Rakhine State in Myanmar.
