H.E. Linas Linkevičius, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, will pay a visit to Turkey on 22 August 2016. The visit of Foreign Minister H.E. Linas Linkevičius is a concrete demonstration of solidarity displayed by the Lithuanian Government following the failed coup attempt on 15 July 2016.

Foreign Minister H.E. Linas Linkevičius will meet with H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, and hold high level contacts. Besides, H.E. Linas Linkevičius will visit the building of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, heavily damaged in the course of coup attempt.

During the meetings, the sides will exchange views on bilateral relations as well as regional issues.
