Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will be attending the 23rd Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council hosted by Germany on 8-9 December 2016 in Hamburg.

In the course of the meeting, discussions will be held on OSCE’s role in addressing the challenges in the OSCE geography and how it may be strengthened, including existing threats to security, the crisis in Ukraine, protracted conflicts, combatting terrorism, migration, confidence and security building measures, as well as arms control.

The meeting will provide an opportunity to present Turkish views on the challenges in the OSCE geography, first and foremost terrorism.

Minister Çavuşoğlu will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts at the margins of the meeting.
