We learned with deep sorrow that many people, including security officers and civilians, were killed and injured today as a result of a terrorist attack in Quetta in the Balochistan province of Pakistan.

We condemn this heinous terrorist attack perpetrated in the holy month of Ramadan, wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives and speedy recovery to the wounded. We convey our condolences to the relatives of those who lost their lives, to the friendly and brotherly people and Government of Pakistan.

We reiterate that we will continue to be in solidarity with Pakistan in its fight against terrorism.
