We are deeply concerned by the armed clashes that have been taking place in recent days in the city of Aden,Yemen, which claimed the lives of many of our Yemeni brothers or left them wounded.

The continuation of these clashes even during the holy feast of Eid Al Adha, whereby feelings of peace, fraternity and solidarity should prevail, is extremely deplorable.

We call upon all parties in Yemen to refrain from acts which may further deepen the political and humanitarian crisis in the country and to seek for the resolution of the conflicts through dialogue.

Turkey will continue to support international efforts aimed at promoting the security and stability of Yemen as well as protecting the unity and integrity of the country.
