We are saddened to receive the news that 11 soldiers lost their lives and 14 soldiers were wounded in a terrorist attack perpetrated against Malian military forces near Ansongo, in the Tessit region of Mali, on 15 March 2021.

We strongly condemn this attack. We extend our sincere condolences to the friendly and brotherly people and Government of Mali as well as to the families and relatives of those who lost their lives and speedy recovery to the wounded.
