Foreign film producers, directors and companies who want to shoot a film in Turkey should apply to the Directorate General of Cinema to obtain permission.

Relevant information and application form can be found on the Directorate’s website www.sinema.gov.tr (Basvurular).

Before shooting the film in Turkey, you should also apply to the Governorship or the Directorate of Culture and Tourism of the cities where the shooting will take place. Please note that if your shooting requires a special permission, you should apply to relevant institution for this purpose.
